Quaichs

A quaich quaigh or quoich, is a special kind of shallow two-handled drinking cup or bowl. Found traditionally in Scotland. It derives from the Scottish Gaelic cuach  meaning a cup. They are traditionally made of wood, an artform known as “treen”. Nowadays they can be found manufactured in wood, silver and pewter.

The quaich is Scotland’s cup of friendship. It has been used through the centuries to offer a welcoming drink to friends and visitors. More recently they have become a decorative gift to celebrate specific events such as births, weddings, and special events.

We supply quality quaichs from a variety of carefully selected manufacturers and suppliers.
